What is Cruisin' for Perfusion?
The AmSECT Student Council is lacing up once again for the first of our annual fundraisers — Cruisin’ for Perfusion 2025! On Saturday, October 18, perfusion students, practicing CCPs, alumni, and friends will hit the ground walking and running to raise funds that help support student attendance at the upcoming 64th AmSECT International Conference in Austin.
Last year’s event brought together students from across the country along with practicing CCPs and even some furry companions. Participants logged impressive miles, supported their peers, and celebrated with perfusion-themed scrub caps as prizes. The energy and generosity of our community made Cruisin’ for Perfusion 2024 a huge success, and we can’t wait to build on that momentum this year.
This year’s event is bigger and more interactive than ever, with social media challenges, giveaways, and the debut of the Cruisin’ for Perfusion Trophy. Participants can compete for prizes by logging the furthest distance, earning the most likes on social media posts, or making the largest donation — and every donor who contributes $25 or more is automatically entered into our scrub cap giveaway!
Whether you’re walking, running, or cheering from the sidelines, your support makes a lasting impact on the future of perfusion. Use the hashtag #Cruisin4Perfusion, spread the word, and help us keep our students moving forward.
