Description
Keystone Perfusion Services is seeking a Chief Staff Perfusionist to join our cardiac team at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania. This is an opportunity to work alongside a high-performing, collaborative cardiac surgery team in a nationally recognized teaching hospital committed to clinical excellence. The program performs roughly 200–250 open-heart procedures annually, including CABG and valve repair/replacement, with minimal ECMO support and no transplant or VAD cases. The region offers a low cost of living, short commutes, and easy access to the Finger Lakes—lakes, waterfalls, wineries, hiking, boating, and skiing year-round.
Benefits
Compensation is $210,000–$220,000 annually, plus a $50,000 sign-on bonus and one year of paid living expenses. Benefits include 401(k) with 4% match, health/dental/vision insurance, FSA, company-paid life insurance, PTO, and $4,500 annual CME reimbursement (three-year accrual).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular perfusion program
- Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)
- Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- Pennsylvania Perfusion License. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, competence across the full range of perfusion procedures, effective teamwork, detail-oriented documentation, and commitment to safety, compliance, and professional standards.
