Description
Pediatric Perfusionist – Locum Tenens, Charlotte, NC. A top-ranked Level 1 Trauma / Level 3 Pediatric Hospital in the Charlotte area needs a Board Certified Pediatric Perfusionist for 4-month leave coverage, March 8 – July 1, 2027 (split blocks welcome). No call ever: Monday–Friday, 40-hour day schedule. Supportive N+1 model with 2 staff perfusionists, 3 surgeons and 4 dedicated anesthesiologists. Average 1–2 pump cases per day, with no resident or APP supervision. Case mix: pediatric cardiothoracic, transplants and VAD support, on Spectrum Medical systems with Epic EMR. Pay is $1,100–$1,400 per day on a 1099 contract, with housing, travel, rental car and malpractice insurance all paid. Easy access through Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
Requirements
ABCP Board Certified Perfusionist with strong hands-on pediatric CT, VAD and transplant experience. Active North Carolina license. A collaborative team player ready to hit the ground running.
