Description
We are building a four-person perfusion team that shares 24/7/365 on-call coverage evenly. Our practice covers all open-heart surgery, major vascular procedures, ECMO, LVAD, cell salvage, and selected ancillary procedures.
For ECMO, perfusionists participate in insertions, some transports, and some decannulations. They also provide expert consultation. Around-the-clock bedside ECMO care is provided by our dedicated team of RN ECMO specialists.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- We prefer candidates with at least three years of experience, but will consider new graduates.
- 0-2 years of clinical perfusion experience required
- 1-2 years of experience with advanced perfusion technologies and techniques preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and cardiopulmonary systems related to extracorporeal circulation and perfusion support.
- Proficient in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of extracorporeal circulation equipment and related technologies.
- Strong critical thinking and situational awareness skills to assess patient status and make real-time adjustments during procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with physicians, surgical staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to maintain composure and sound judgment in high-pressure and emergent clinical environments.
Licenses and Certifications:
- American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) required
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation required
- BLS - Basic Life Support required
