Description
M Physicians is hiring a Perfusionist to join a team of 14 in a dual academic/community hospital setting (UMMC & Southdale). The role covers adult bypass cases (CABs, valves, transplants, complex aortic, VADs), ECMO, and procedures like HIPEC and liver transplants. The practice supports 10+ surgeons with 900+ CPB cases and 200+ TAVRs annually.

Requirements
- Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Perfusion Technology Program and hold current certification through the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or be board-eligible. BLS certification is required
- The ideal candidate is a dependable team player with a positive attitude and a genuine commitment to patient care and professional growth. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative solutions in a fast-paced clinical environment are essential
- Candidates must be able to respond to the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis within 30 minutes while on call. Availability for one call day per week (Monday–Thursday) and one weekend per month (Friday–Sunday) is required
- A willingness to precept and mentor perfusion students is expected, as clinical education is an active part of this role
- Must be within 30 minutes of UMMC while on call.
