Description
Join our dedicated team at The Valley Hospital, handling approximately 600 open-heart cases annually. Our cases primarily include CABGs and valves, with occasional ECMO support. With a team of four full-time perfusionists, this position offers a supportive, collaborative environment, and on-call responsibilities are evenly distributed among the team. You'll operate and manage heart-lung machines during cardiac surgeries, collaborate with 3–4 cardiac surgeons on diverse procedures, provide expert perfusion support for CABG, valve, and occasional ECMO cases, ensure compliance with safety standards and hospital protocols, and participate in the on-call rotation.
Benefits
Compensation is $180,000–$245,000 annually, plus up to $5,000 relocation assistance, 401(k) with 4% match, health/dental/vision insurance, FSA, company-paid life insurance, 200 hours PTO accrued annually, and $1,500 annual CME reimbursement with three-year carry-over.
Requirements
- Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) credential required
- ABCP certification or ABCP board eligible required
- Licensed to practice in New Jersey, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Experience with CABG, valve procedures, and ECMO preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Must be able to relocate to Paramus, NJ before starting work
