Description
Position Overview: Comprehensive Care Services is looking for a Full-time Perfusionist in the Austin, TX area. The program is involved with cardiac procedures related to heart failure, aortic reconstruction, valve disease and coronary disease. The center maintains an ECMO program that is a Gold ELSO Center of Excellence. The position is for night shift ECMO coverage in the ICU. NO call, no ECMO transport, set schedule, 35 hour per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ECMO support during initiation, decannulation and bedside monitoring for patients in need of ECMO care.
- Monitor patient and equipment status and communicate changes to the ICU team.
- Manage blood products and mechanical circulatory Support as indicated.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to support safe, high-quality patient care.
- Document procedures and maintain compliance with hospital, State, and AMSECT standards.

Requirements
Must have Bachelor's or Master's degree, current BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. Texas Perfusion License will be
required. New graduates are welcome!
