Description
Comprehensive Care Services, Inc. is looking for a Director of Perfusion Services for McLaren Macomb and McLaren Port Huron Hospitals, located in Mount Clemens, MI and Port Huron, MI. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of perfusion experience, accompanied by previous management or leadership experience.
This position includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus, along with a favorable work-life balance and a low call-in rate.
The selected candidate will ensure that the Perfusion Department meets quality standards within the resources available. This position is responsible for ensuring that the Perfusion Department responds to open heart surgery, autotransfusion, pump standby, and IABP according to established protocols and hospital agreements.
The case mix primarily includes CABGs, isolated valves, and TAVRs. The Director of Perfusion Services will perform procedures related to the physiological management of patients' circulatory and respiratory functioning during and following cardiac surgery, under the direct supervision of the anesthesiologist and operating surgeon.
Mount Clemens, located in Macomb County, offers a strong community feel with convenient access to the greater Metro Detroit area. The surrounding area provides excellent options for dining, shopping, parks, schools, and year-round recreation. Nearby Lake St. Clair Metropark offers boating, biking, swimming, bird watching, windsurfing, kiteboarding, paved trails, golf, and access to Lake St. Clair. Mount Clemens is also within about an hour of Detroit, Rochester, St. Clair Shores, Sterling Heights, Shelby Township, and other popular Metro Detroit communities.
Port Huron is a scenic waterfront community located along the St. Clair River and Lake Huron. The area offers a charming downtown district with shops, art galleries, restaurants, a marina, beaches, walking and biking areas, and views near the Blue Water Bridge.
Within an hour of Port Huron, candidates can enjoy nearby waterfront communities such as Marysville, St. Clair, Marine City, Lexington, and Michigan's Thumb coast region, which features extensive shoreline, boating, fishing, beaches, golf, local events, and outdoor recreation.

Requirements
The selected candidate must be willing to work flexible schedules and demonstrate well-developed interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact professionally with nursing staff, health care team members, patients, and families.
Candidates must have a bachelor's or master's degree, be certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion, and have current BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
