We are looking for a Director of Perfusion to join our Longview Texas group. We have a wonderful work life balance combined with an aggressive salary and sign on bonus. This candidate will need at least three-five years of experience accompanied by Management experience. The selected candidate will ensure that the Perfusion Department meets quality standards within the resources available. Ensures that the Perfusion Department responds to Open Heart Surgery, Autotransfusion, Pump Standby and IABP according to protocols and Hospital agreement. Performs procedures relative to the physiological management of patients’ circulatory and respiratory functioning during and following cardiac surgery, under the direct supervision of the anesthesiologist and operating surgeon.

Requirements

Must be willing to work flexible schedules. Demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills and communication skills necessary to interact in a professional manner with nursing staff, health care team members, patient and families. Must have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and be certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion and have current BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. Texas Perfusion License Required.
