Description
Comprehensive Care Services, Inc. is looking for a full-time Extra-Corporeal Life Support (ECLS) Coordinator. CCP, MD's, Registered Nurses and Respiratory Therapists are welcome to apply. The ECLS Coordinator shall possess Bachelor of Science degree with a minimum of 4-years of advanced critical care experience, mechanical support management, and ECLS Education; possess strong leadership, interpersonal, and communicative skills, as well as evidence of commitment to continued education and self-development. Demonstrates well-developed interpersonal skills and communication skills necessary to interact in a professional manner with physician and nursing staff, perfusion, and other health care team members, patients, and families.
The ECLS Coordinator is responsible for the daily operational, clinical, and administrative coordination of the ECLS program. The ECLS coordinator shall collaborate with the ECLS Medical Director, Director of Perfusion, and the Vice President of ECLS Services in the continued development, organization, evaluation, and sustainment of ECLS program. The ECLS Coordinator will ensure that the ECLS Department meets the quality standards within the resources available as determined in congruence with ECLS steering committee. The ECLS Coordinator will have twenty-four (24) hour responsibility for the ECLS Department. Requirements
Must be willing to work flexible schedules. Demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills and communication skills necessary to interact in a professional manner with nursing staff, health care team members, patients and families. Must have bachelor's or master's degree and have current BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
