Description
Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking an ECMO Educator to lead training and education for mechanical circulatory support programs while providing direct clinical care to patients of all ages in critical care settings. This role develops and evaluates educational programs, monitors and operates ECMO and related devices, collaborates with ECMO Leadership on protocols, evaluates new technologies, and tracks program outcomes through data and benchmarking. The position offers full-time benefits and a $20,000 sign-on bonus (eligibility restrictions apply).
Requirements
Qualified candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Perfusion Technology (Master’s preferred) and have at least five years of neonatal/pediatric acute care experience, including 3–5 years of ECMO experience (10 years preferred). Applicants must possess a current Massachusetts license as a Respiratory Therapist or Perfusionist and maintain RRT-NPS certification. The posted pay range reflects Boston Children’s Hospital’s reasonable, good-faith compensation expectation at the time of posting.
