Description

Comprehensive Care Services, Inc. is looking for a full-time PBMT with at least one year of college education or a college degree or a minimum of one year work experience in a medical field. This position and will support the following HCA facilities in the Hudson/Trinity/Brooksville, FL Area: Florida Trinity Hospital, Florida Bayonet Point Hospital and Florida Oak Hill Hospital.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the Perfusion Department meets quality standards and promptly responds to open heart surgery, autotransfusion, pump standby, and PRP according to protocol and hospital agreements.

Requirements

• Must have a valid BLS Certification from either the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Employee must pass the Peri-Operative Blood Management Technologist certification within one year of employment and keep certification current or have an accreditation as Anesthesia Technician, Anesthesia Technologist, Paramedic, Fire Technologist or Registered Nurse
• Must be willing to work flexible schedules and demonstrate the well-developed interpersonal skills and communication skills necessary to interact in a professional manner with nursing staff, health care team members, patients, and families.
