Description

Comprehensive Care Services, Inc. is looking for a full-time PBMT who will be working at Corewell Royal Oak in Royal Oak, MI.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the Perfusion Department meets quality standards and promptly responds to open heart surgery, autotransfusion, pump standby, and PRP according to protocol and hospital agreements. Must be willing to work flexible schedules. Demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills and communication skills necessary to interact in a professional manner with nursing staff, health care team members, patients, and families.

Requirements

• Must pass the Peri-Operative Blood Management Technologist certification within one year of employment and keep certification current or have an accreditation as Anesthesia Technician, Anesthesia Technologist, Paramedic, EMT, CNA, Fire Technologist or Registered Nurse.
• Must have a High School diploma and at least one year of college education and either an associate degree and/or experience in Autotransfusion or a relevant health sector or prior cross training into this job by working as a surgical, perfusion or blood bank technician etc.
• Some clinical experience
