Description
Norton Children’s Hospital, Louisville, KY is seeking a full time Pediatric Perfusionist to join a collaborative team of three. We perform approximately 150 open-heart procedures per year, including heart transplants and ventricular assist device support. Perfusion plays a supporting role in Mechanical Support (No ECMO initiation). We provide clinical instruction for various perfusion schools, in addition to ongoing quality improvement projects. We offer exposure to a broad range of pediatric cardiac procedures within a rapidly growing and evolving program.
Major Campus Expansion in the Future: Norton Children’s is planning to build a groundbreaking pediatric care campus on over 150 acres marking a bold expansion of its footprint. This campus will feature a new full service children’s hospital tailored to complex pediatric needs, alongside research facilities, expanded specialty clinic space, and behavioral and mental health services Norton Children's+5Norton Children's+5WLKY+5. Through survey efforts, the needs of the Norton employees and Louisville communities will play a vital role in this development.

Requirements
- Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Perfusion Technology and be certified by the ABCP
- Minimum 3 years of pediatric experience is preferred. FPP is a bonus but not required
