Description
Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is home to the busiest congenital cardiac surgery program in the southeast performing approximately 650 CPB cases annually amongst a team of 8 perfusionists.
We enjoy a variety of cases, flexible schedule, N+1 staffing model, minimal call work, all of which support a great work-life balance. We have no ECMO responsibilities. Our VAD responsibilities include priming and collaborative clinical management of Berlin Heart, HeartMate 3, CentriMag, and Impella devices. We have a long-standing pediatric heart transplant program, with over 400 transplanted patients. We want a perfusionist with a passion for pediatrics and desire to work with a close-knit team. Experience preferred, although new graduates will be considered. We utilize Essenz pumps, 3T heater/coolers, CDI 550, and EPIC.
We recently moved to a brand-new campus, the Arthur M. Blank Hospital (AMB) – a hospital dedicated to making kids better today and healthier tomorrow.
Requirements
- ABCP Certification or eligible
- GA Perfusion License or eligibile
- CPR Certification
- Pediatric perfusion experience preferred
- VAD experience preferred
