Description
The Perfusionist is an integral team member whose scope of practice includes cardiopulmonary bypass, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and intraoperative autotransfusion. This hospital-based position will be instrumental in the development and growth of the Heart Center at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital.
Requirements
- ABCP certified or eligible within 1st year of employment
- Bachelor's degree
- Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited school of cardiovascular Certified or certification eligible as per guidelines of the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion
- Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion within 12 months of hire date
- Current BLS certification
- Pediatric perfusion experience is preferred
- Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) experience is preferred
