The Perfusionist is responsible for the assembly and operation of the heart-lung machine during open-heart surgery. Primary responsibilities also include the set-up and operation of other cardiopulmonary bypass systems and ventricular support devices. Estimated salary range for this position is $144738.24 - $217,108.94 / year depending on experience.

Degrees:

• Associates

Licenses & Certifications:

• ABCP Cardiovascular Perfusionist
• Basic Life Support

Additional Qualifications:

• Associate of Science required
• Minimum of 1 year perfusion experience
• Board Certified or eligible by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion
• 1 year of experience
