An excellent opportunity exists to work for a government contractor with competitive compensation and work-life balance. Posterity Group LLC is a veteran owned, service-disabled small business, headquartered in Rockville, MD, that specializes in federal government contracting and staffing. We are tasked with staffing the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System with one (1) onsite FTE, Board Certified Clinical Perfusionist, and one (1) on-call Perfusionist.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Performed a minimum of 1000 clinical cases
• Must be within 30 minutes of the facility.
• Graduate of an accredited Allied Health Education Program School of Perfusion Technology.
• ABCP Certification and current on all continuing education requirements.
• Assist the Cardio-Thoracic service with by-pass surgical cases and various types of valve replacements.
• Perfusionists responsibilities include viewing the patient record prior to the surgery to review the surgeon’s plan of care.
• Other services include preparation, operation and maintenance of the heart and lung machines/pump, auto transfusion pump, intra-aortic balloon pump and centrifugal ventricular assist device.
