Description

We have a full time opening for a staff perfusionist at RWJBarnabas New Brunswick in New Jersey. This position would bring us to a team of 10. We do cabgs, valves, heart transplants, VADS, robotic cabg, and ECMO insertions. Our ECMO’s are managed by the CVICU nurses. Our staffing model allows us to have a great work life balance. Weekend first call ends up being about once every 9th weekend. Our team has a great rapport with the five surgeons as well all the anesthesiologists. We are also a rotation site for a perfusion program in the area. We are centrally located in New Jersey.

Requirements

• Completions of training at an accredited school of perfusion technology
• Must be certified or certified-eligible by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion
• Full-Time | 40 hours per week
• Day shift
• Be available for 24 hour per day CCP coverage
