Description

Comprehensive Care Services, Inc. is recruiting for an experienced Staff Perfusionist with at least 3-5 years’ experience at two locations that include Bronson Methodist and Beacon Kalamazoo Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. These locations are performing approximately 600, adults only, open heart procedures a year, including TAVRs. You will be joining an experience team of five, full-time and one per-diem, perfusionists. New graduates with Cardiovascular Perfusion background are welcome to apply as well. Must be willing to work flexible schedules. Demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills and communication skills necessary to interact in a professional manner with nursing staff, health care team members, patient and families as well as being a self-motivated candidate that values team collaboration, professional development, and a diligent work ethic.

Kalamazoo is in southwest Michigan, situated halfway between Chicago and Detroit with an estimated population of 76,000. Kalamazoo is also home to Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo College, along with Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Requirements

Must have Bachelor’s or Master's degree and be certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion or eligible to become certified after one year of employment. Must also have current BLS certification through either the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
