We can teach any qualified candidate the nuances of perfusion, but we cannot teach professionalism, ethics, or personal responsibility. We are seeking a reliable, positive, and collaborative team player who brings a great attitude and strong adaptability to our cardiac surgical suite every day.
Clinical Practice Highlights
Patient Population: Adult cardiac surgery only (no pediatric or neonatal cases).
Core Procedures: Primarily CABGs, valve repairs/replacements, and aortic dissections, along with general adult cardiac cases with an annual caseload of 350-400/year.
ECMO Program: Active VV and VA ECMO program with an estimated volume of 12–15 cases per year (prior ECMO experience is not required).
Upcoming Technology: Launching a robotic mitral valve program in January 2027 (prior robotic experience is not required).
Work-Life Balance: All call responsibilities are divided equally among the four team members.
Requirements
Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or Board-Eligible. Recent graduates are welcomed to apply. High degree of personal accountability, professional integrity, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
