Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Perfusionist to join our cardiovascular team in Columbia, Missouri. This role supports adult cardiac surgery and related procedures by operating extracorporeal circulation equipment, managing cardiopulmonary bypass, and working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other members of the surgical team. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited perfusion education program
- Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion preferred or required within an established timeframe
- Current or eligible Missouri licensure, if applicable
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Previous adult cardiac perfusion experience preferred, but strong new graduates may be considered
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure surgical environments
- Excellent communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills
