Description
Keystone Perfusion Services, LLC is seeking a full-time Staff Perfusionist to join the cardiac surgery team at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville in Madisonville, Kentucky. This is a stable, well-established community cardiac program with a manageable case volume of approximately 75 cases per year and a strong emphasis on clinical quality, teamwork, and patient safety. The team consists of two perfusionists, with on-call responsibilities shared evenly, supporting the program's single cardiac surgeon.
Responsibilities include operating extracorporeal circulation systems; performing autotransfusion, blood gas analysis, and related perfusion services; administering medications and blood products via the circuit; maintaining documentation; and coordinating with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams.
Strong communication, sound clinical judgment, and a commitment to safety required.
Benefits
Compensation: $145,000–$165,000 annually (based on experience), plus a $50,000 sign-on bonus, 401(k) with company contribution, health/dental/vision insurance, FSA, company-paid life insurance, PTO, and annual CME reimbursement. Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher; graduate of an accredited cardiovascular perfusion program; certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion; and current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
