AmSECT Student Council Accomplishments
2023-2024
AmSECT is proud of the accomplishments of all the members of the 2023-2024 Student Council.
These students worked diligently to accomplish many milestones in their respective roles and committees. With strong participation and overall student council growth a lot was able to be accomplished! Here are just a few of the highlights:
- Launch of the Pre-Perfusion Committee- With more and more prospective perfusion students, this committee aims to create a space to answer all of their pre-perfusion questions. With a web page in the works, we are excited to see what the future holds for this task force!
- Heart Walk 2023 - As a part of an AmSECT Student Council fundraising effort, perfusion students, as well as some perfusionists, from across the country participated in a 3-mile walk in their respective cities. Through their great work, the student council was able to raise $2365, all of which sponsored student attendance at the AmSECT 62nd International Conference in New Orleans, LA.
